It's been awhile since I blogged...which means I haven't worked out in days. I'm a slacker. I'll blame it on Spring Break. I was telling myself all day that tonight I had to work out. Then, like a sign from God, this afternoon I had an email from Tracy Anderson...the exercise lady. Here is the Cliff note version.
Jessica,
You are lazy and fat.
Nicole Richie is skinny and cute because she does my exercises.
Love,
Tracy
The email went on to say how Nicole Richie owns and operates multiple companies, has two kids and manages to do it all. Well...I'm struggling with the "do it all" thing.
Anyway, I put the kids to bed and popped in the first DVD. Seriously I made it through 10 minutes before I lost total interest. I had a bad attitude. Maybe it was because Troon was in his crib screaming and my nanny (Dan) wasn't dealing with the situation. I just quit. I'm a quiter. Then I remembered my hideous body and popped in the second DVD and gave myself a second chance. I did about 15 minutes. I wasn't feeling it. I'm not going to even write anything down in the little journal thing. I'll just pretend this workout (for lack of a better word) never even happened. I am mad at myself.
I wonder if Ms. Richie has days like this?

Sister, that means that you got in about 25minutes of some form of exercise... That is worth something!! When I was in the process of losing the 75lbs (yikes) one of my favorite pieces of advice was, "DO something! Jump, jog in place, dance, whatever! Get your heart pumping and try a few times a day to do that for about 10minutes"
ReplyDeleteIt does help! Although for me, I gotta bust it all out at once! I hit the Y, kick some booty and call it good! Hang in there!
What really cracks me up is the fact that you are not only thin, but shockingly gorgeous... maybe you need a counseling session instead of a workout! You're crazy! LOL
I totally agree with you rockstar! She has a mental disorder. I'd like to call it "body dysmorphic disorder"...lol But seriously... she needs help...and not in the form of a trainer/workout dvd.
